We rent payment terminals so you can use MYPOS Connect Payments. They must only be used by you as we instruct regarding the business we have agreed with you. They belong to us, and you must return them at the end of the contractual agreement.

The Minimum Hire Period commences on the date of delivery of the Hired Terminals. Rental billing, per month, per payment terminal. Monthly rental payments are payable monthly in arrears by direct debit.
We will provide a replacement payment terminal if your payment terminal develops a fault (or is damaged) as a result of accidental damage to your payment terminal; or damage caused to a payment terminal or any part of it through misuse or malicious damage, faulty batteries or battery packs that we do not provide, faults in (or caused by) any third-party device or attachment that we do not provide, or in the event of theft or loss of a payment terminal. However, you must return your faulty or damaged card machine to us (except in cases of theft or loss).
We will try to deliver any replacement payment terminal (including substitutions provided under the Payment Terminal Services) by the end of the next business day after the business day on which you request it, but this may not always be possible.
Any substitute payment terminal will be of a similar or improved specification but may be new or refurbished.
If you fail to return your payment terminal within 30 days of receiving a substitute payment terminal, you will pay the payment terminal non-return fee as set out in the fees schedule. You will also pay our costs for arranging a substitution for a payment terminal that we find not to be faulty.
If a fault develops in your payment terminal because of any of the following reasons, we will provide a replacement payment terminal in line with the fee as set out in the fees schedule.
• Damage caused to a payment terminal or any part of it through misuse or malicious damage.
• Theft or loss of a payment terminal.
• Faulty batteries or battery packs that we do not provide.
• Faults in, or caused by, any third-party device or attachment that we do not provide.
During the rental agreement, you must:
• Keep the payment terminals in good repair and condition.
• Not try to carry out repairs or alterations to a payment terminal or SIM yourself.
• Not modify any SIM provided or remove it from the payment terminal that it was supplied for use with.
• Be responsible for any loss or damage to the payment terminal and not remove any identifying marks or labels.
• Insure the payment terminal for loss or damage for their full replacement value or otherwise indemnify (meaning fully protect) us against the full cost of repair or replacement.
• Keep the payment terminal in your possession in the UK.
When the contractual agreement ends, you must return the payment terminal and any SIMs to us within 14 days as we direct. The returned payment terminals and SIMs must be in good condition and complete with all accessories, including power leads, batteries, chargers and user guides.
If you do not return the payment terminals, or if the returned items are not in the required condition or accompanied by the corresponding SIMs and correct accessories, you must reimburse us the cost of replacement or our reasonable costs in restoring the payment terminals and SIMs to the required condition. Our maximum charge for this is set out in the fees schedule.
